Effective strategies used to 'teach or reach the male brain' by male teachers

The effective strategies I used to reach male students are:
1. Picture-Walk Text-Walk when doing reading.
2. Project-based education through a hands-on approach.
3. Technology integration using the SAMR (substitution, augmentation, modification and redefinition).
4. Problem-based learning with the use of real situation.

Differentiation, making learning more hands on, allowing more play time.

Link topics some way to their daily enjoyment

Have concrete objects to demonstrate, use music and drama, have short sessions

1. Rap with them and show them respect
2. Use their slangs or jargons to greet and or motivate them
3.Approach them with respect

One on one rap sessions sharing experiences and listening to them, inviting them to join track and field training or to help manage the team or just playing with them

Offering pastoral care to them by showing them the relevance of education and how it will help to shape their future.
Secondly allowing the content area to reflect their interests and likes, which allows them to have a better interest in learning.
Thirdly allowing them to see their learning in a practical and realistic way. That is how it will help them to fit in society, how to react with their peers, how to speak especially where they see proper speaking among their peers as effeminate.

Practical real-life examples of concepts and questions. Link topic to popular music. Use games to teach concepts

I incorporate current music and sports in the lesson

Show compassion and link lessons to their love of sports, music, etc

The effective strategies I used to reach male students are:

2. Project-based education through a hands-on approach.
3. Technology integration using the SAMR (substitution, augmentation, modification and redefinition).
4. Problem-based learning with the use of real situation.

My strategies is from a personal and professional perspective. Understanding the students helps in meeting their needs or being effective in reaching them. When the students see and understand how to relate, they will be receptive of the lessons being taught and will assist others who may be falling behind.

Real life experience

Be organised, use analogies, show them that you care.

Modeling desired behavior while discussing their effects and benefits.
